This is freaking creepy. I was just going through my normal digg dose for the day looking for cool stories to check out and I came across this video made by The Vacationeers. This probably will never happen and am pretty sure it won’t ( fingers crossed ), but what if it does? This particular video just points out the power of google and how it might effect our life in future and what google might be capable of.

You probably already know about this but still its something we would like to cover here on Nethackz as well. The fastest growing Social Networking site Facebook has hit another milestone. Facebook now boasts 100,000,000 users. This certainly is a milestone for this fast growing social networking site. For Facebook to reach this point it took 4 years and 6 months versus MySpace which reached this milestone within 3 years.
If you look at the image below it can be clearly seen that although MySpace gained momentum in the beginning, Facebook is certainly coming out to be the clear winner. MySpace traffic seems to be going down consistently whereas Facebook has a steady growth. It won’t be too long before Facebook will boast 200,000,000 users.
Most comapnies and businesses have by now realized that they need to have a mobile version of their site. Bigger sites such as Facebook and others have implemented mobile version of sites for a long time but recently Hi5 has taken the step as well. Hi5 has the biggest following in Latin America.
Hi5 seems to be taking the right approach. Although a little late it certainly is a smart move and a very good timing as well. If any of you are a fan of Hi5, now you have the pleasure of using it on your mobile device as well.
Since the new design it seems like Reddit has been seeing some massive growth. They recently announced that reddit is now a full platform for building link sharing sites. Here is an excerpt from the blog to give you an idea what it really means,
Starting today, you’ll be able to totally modify your CSS and use custom CNAMEs. Now your reddit can be restyled to look however you want — like any Wordpress blog. Why stop at a custom logo (bacon reddit, I’m thinking of you) when you can change the entire design? Furthermore, your reddit can now show up at BaconBuzz.com or whatever domain you’d like if http://reddit.com/r/bacon doesn’t cut it for you.

Just last week we linked you to one of the lists compiled by PCMAG.com and we are going to do it again. We are not favoring anybody and seriously our links don’t mean crap to that site. However, they have been coming up with some great lists lately and its just been plain fun browsing through these sites they have been compiling.
This list contains top classic websites of 2008 ( according to PCMAG ). Some of you might defer in opinion but I find this list pretty nice and useful enough to spend couple hours going through. This is funny. I came across this site which transforms everything that you have written into something that is funny, misspelled, f***ed up and what not. So basically what you do is you simply copy and paste some text in a box and then choose one of the options and hit “The Button.” Your options to make the text funny and pretty f***ed includes – A Little Dumb, Idiot, Moron, Re-re, Incomprehensible.
