It sure is nice to browse around the web checking out your favorite sites and to finally find something that catches your eye. PC Magazine has created a list of top 100 discovered sites which was certainly nice to see and yes it was time consuming. If you don’t see nethackz update for couple days now you know why . Anyways please click on the image below to check out the list and try out new sites that you might not know about yet. Some sites on the list are obviously known by the most, but of course when you create a list that big there are going to be some that you know about. Nevertheless its a killer resource. Google is known to buy out and invest on new things. It might come as a surprise but Google.org recently invested 10 million dollars on in Enhanced Geothermal Systems (EGS). We have to wait and see how Google will cash in on this investment. Below is a short video that might give you a little more information on how EGS works and what google is getting into…
Everyone checks out a little adult site here and there. I won’t try to put myself on the innocent stand and will admit that I do look at porn as well. Well, it seems like the hold up with Internet Explorer 8 might be “private browsing” or what people like to call the “porn mode.” What this feature does is when you turn on the “porn mode” you don’t have to clear your history. I have heard cases of people watching porn and then forgetting to clear their history only to get caught by their wife, parents or whoever it is that you are trying to hide it from. Now thats scary. So this might be one possible reason why IE8 is holding back with the release. Let’s wait till MS releases IE8 and see if it is all about porn errrrr private browsing .

Until now Yahoo Buzz allowed only a limited number of publishers to publish their articles on the buzz. Starting today Yahoo Buzz will allow everyone to publish posts. It is known to send some killer traffics, the one that we web junkies call “server melting.” Although it seems to be a direct contender to Digg, due to some limitations and other requirements it might not be most feasible option for most users.
Anyway its a wait and watch game. My suggestion at this point is to go ahead and give Yahoo Buzz a try and see what it can do for you.
