Yeah, I’ve been having the same problem. I’ve been doing what @DazzlinDonna said and blocking the ip addresses as well. WP-Ban is what I installed, seems to be working pretty well.

Oh, yeah, it’s definitely a spamfest from those spammers right now. I’m throwing their ip addresses (94.102.60.15x) into the banned list in the Settings, but not sure that will hold it back for long. But you definitely aren’t alone. It’s widespread right now.
