Another Must Read Story On Digg

by Ritu

It seems like this week digg has gotten more coverage in the blogosphere more than Obama or Mccain. Just a few days ago we read an interview from a “power digger” who said he makes upto 1200 dollars per submission simply by submitting article for his/her clients. Today I came across another story which shows how digg has been taking action by banning power users who are very influential within the digg community.

Most power diggers make use of scripts and other ways to stay on top of the Digg game. These handy scripts allows them to digg automatically or makes it easier for them to digg in some other ways. This is not something new. It has been going for a while but lately Digg seems to have cracked down a little. Brian Cuban ( brother of Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban ) who went by the profile name “bcuban” has been banned from digg.

Please read “Confessions Of A Banned Digger” written by Brian on why he got banned from Digg. As they say, when somebody else makes a mistake learn from them so you don’t make them. If you want to rise on digg or become an active digger, this is a story you must read to learn what you should and shouldn’t do when it comes to manipulating social media.

If you would like to friend me on digg here is my digg profile.
