It seems like we will be able to get our hands on iPhone 3G pretty soon through WalMart. The date is said to be November 15th. Although the report is not confirmed it is being said that it is pretty much a done deal and WalMart will be carrying it starting next month. Its weird that radioshack still hasn’t been able to carry iPhone 3G but WalMart might have scored the deal. Well, if they do carry it at WalMart we might just be able to get the groceries, buy some magazines, clothes (if you like WalMart clothes ) and the iPhone all at one place. At this point all we can do is wait and see….Still fishy but usually these rumors seem to be true.

A Norwegian application developer Erik Kristiansen has developed a beta software that will let you run Windows Mobile on your iPhone. The application works much like the Bootcamp and allows you to choose between the iphone OS and Windows Mobile. Neat!

The Victoria School of Business and Technology in Canada has received a letter from Apple saying that they infringed Apple’s logo. It seems like Apple is getting a little too insecure about their logo cause it doesn’t really seem like the School’s logo is violating Apple’s trademark logo in anyway. Please take a look at the image below which shows both the School’s and Apple’s logo.
Personally, I don’t really think there is any room for Apple to speak up on this matter. But well they usually do and they did. This is what Apple’s lawyer wrote in the letter sent to the school,
Your business logo…reproduces, without authority, our client’s Apple design logo which it widely uses. By doing so, you are infringing Apple’s rights, and further, falsely suggesting that Apple has authorized your activities.
And this is what the school had to say,
Our logo is unique and distinguishable in numerous aspects from the Apple logo, including our logo “VSBT” being part of our logo. Are you suggesting anyone using any variation of an apple for technology education related use is infringing on Apple’s trademark?
The school’s letter can be found by clicking on the image below. They have set up a poll as well to see whether or not others think VSBT violated Apple’s trademark. Please click the link below and vote to show your support to whoever you think is right on this matter. We are on VSBT’s side as it doesn’t seem like they are involved in any trademark infringement.

It’s a well known fact that Apple is pretty good at designing their computers and gadgets. iPhone, iPod, the Mac Airbook are all sleek and beautiful. However, they seem to have done a pretty bad job when it comes to making their YouTube channel look appealing. I personally find it pretty ugly and although I am not a big Apple fan I am sure Apple could have done better than this. Click on the image below to visit Apple’s YouTube Channel,
Update #1 : They seem to have realized how ugly their page on YouTube looks. At this moment all the images on the background is replaced by a plain black background. Much better.
update #2 : although the youtube page says “official channel” its not yet confirmed by Apple as far as we know. So at this point this might be a spoof. Who knows….we will keep you updated.
update # 3 : More changes on the “official” Apple YouTube Channel, again. please look at the images below,

My personal opinion this is not a fake as most people are claiming it to be. But again that’s just my personal thought. Will keep you updated.
