If you are one of those people who likes to collect extravagant things, this watch might be right up your alley. The watch is built by Swiss watch makers and carries a whooping $450,000 price tag. Some of the things that makes this watch so costly are :

  • Steel casing is made up of tiny parts from Apollo 11
  • Dial is made up of minerals from the real moon dust
  • The dial mimics little indents that looks like moon craters
  • The watch marks the 40th anniversary of the 1969 moon landings and only 1,969 pieces are available.

If you have got the money and are into “bling bling” this might be the next jewel you are seeking ;-) .

I apologize to all the readers for targeting this post strictly towards Jason (founder) but as far as I know he has been waiting to get his hands on this toy for a while. I own a Palm Treo and I will never suggest anyone to get their hands on one. It literally sucks. I have been tempted to get a blackberry myself and looking at the RIM BlackBerry Bold, I think this will be on my wish list. I have heard Jason throws some nice gifts to his close friends and families and I have been a pretty good friend myself (hint hint).

Anyway, now that I have made my intentions clear with this post I would just like to let all you BlackBerry fans out there that the RIM BlackBerry Bold is up for grabs via AT&T. I know Jason will be on board on this one and his generosity has no limits, so I bet there will be one coming my way as well.

Thanks in advance Jason! ;-)

Apple is well known among computer users as a company that is well versed in creating products that are extremely well designed and of course serves the purpose perfect. I came across a presentation today which shows some products that are shamelessly copied from Apple products. Enjoy!

Although this mock up products might make you look “hip” and cool I can almost put money down that they won’t work as good as Apple products do. And not to mention, few of them are made in China.

It’s almost time for 2008 Presidential Election and the time couldn’t be more appropriate to talk about voting machines. Although we would like to talk more about the voting machines, to tell you the truth we have no freaking clue how it works. We are not really into politics and didn’t really have the need or the urge to learn about them. However, since politics is something that we should all stay in tune with we found you an article that will give you much more in depth analysis than we can on this matter. Please check out the images below and follow the source link at the bottom to read the full article.

Now that we brought politics in here, if you want to share who you are going to vote for and why, go ahead and share it with us.

We recently featured a video on how you can turn your old broken cellphone into a skype phone and now we come across this phone. Well, for the rich web entrepreneurs out there this might be a way to live luxuriously but we would rather spend that $300 on something else.

The phone you see below is handcrafted in Montreal Canada and works on both PC and Mac. If you would like to get your hands on one you might have to wait for a couple weeks ( 6 – 8 ) as each piece is handmade according to your order. The retro design sure looks nice and classy but its a Skype phone, we just can’t seem to get our heads straight and figure out why go through so much trouble and all that money. Well, we all have out own opinion and for some this might be a gem but we think otherwise.

Specification :

  • Plugs directly into MAC + PC
  • Plug-and-play, no need for software installation
  • Works with all VoIP services (Skype, iChat, GoogleTalk, Vonage, Yahoo, etc.)
  • Handset Cord Length 1.5 metres
  • Original Design by HULGER, handmade by Furni of Montreal

If you’re like most people, you probably carry your laptop with you to many different places.  Home, work, school, Starbucks — if there’s a place to sit and a place to charge, you’re laptop has a chance of getting pulled out there.

I found out the other day that laptops are not designed for travel.  WHAT?  Why have a laptop if they aren’t designed for travel?  That’s the whole purpose, right?  Well, as I chatted with tech support at an unnamed vendor who sold me my 4th laptop in 2 years, I was told that traditional laptops are not made to take with you everywhere, especially on trips.  They are more stable internally than desktops, but are really only supposed to be transported on an occasional basis.

Then I was told about rugged laptops and notebooks.

In theory, they are built with the stability to handle travel.  And washing.  And gunfire.

Okay, not gunfire, but if they can make it through a convoy in the Iraqi desert, they may be able to handle my needs.  Here’s hoping.  FYI – found a gem of a retailer, Rugged Laptops, who pound for pound sell the same thing that everyone else sells but cheaper.  Not sure what the angle is there, but it seems to be working.

Here is a picture that says everything I want to know about rugged laptops — out in a really cool place and still getting internet connectivity, then off to the backyard for a quick spray-down with the hose.

Washing the Laptop

Productivity at its best.
