PHOTO SHARING SITE TRAFFIC - It's amazing how much traffic you can get from photo sharing sites if you try! Here's a how-to.

Targeted traffic is the most important factor that creates success for any website. If you are able to drive specific traffic to our website, you will not have any problems trying to generate profits.

Although there are numerous methods for getting potential clients to your website, there are constantly new ways for getting traffic being developed. Getting exposure for your site through photo sharing websites is one such method that doesn’t really cost you anything and actually gives results.

So, how do you take advantage of photo sharing sites to get targeted viewers to your website? How do you utilize photo sharing site for the greatest ways to promote your website?

First of all, make it a lot less difficult to find you by putting your photos in the correct groups or categories. The more concentrated you are with this, the better your results.

Photo sharing websites give you numerous opportunities to make your pictures stand out. Grouping them together is the best method for getting this done. This will put all of your associated pictures in one location so that it will be less difficult for your pictures to be seen by your targeted audience. In addition, it will make things a lot less difficult later on when you want to organize your pictures, you can just look at the groups and continue from there.

Secondly, do not sit around and expect things to occur. But opt to be a person that is an active member of the community. Turn into an avid user. Interact with other users, comment on their pictures, and indulge yourself. This will increase the number of people that look at your photographs and then come to your website or blog.

You will find tons of pictures on these photo sharing websites on a consistent basis. Look around for the pictures that grab your attention, are well liked and specific to your niche and talk about them in the comments.

The main focus is to become known as a member of the community and help people to notice your pictures.

Last, do not put this strategy on the backburner and overlook it. Start using this strategy today by applying it on a regular basis. You need to begin applying this right now if you truly want to see good results. You don’t have to achieve everything in one day. It is a process that has many steps.

So if you have not used photo sharing sites before to your advantage, now is the time to do so. Eventually, you will want to give yourself a pat on the back for taking that first step when you had the chance. This is because you are not able to predict the future and tell if things will be more difficult.

In a nutshell, out of the above article we notice that photo sharing websites are definitely a wonderful way for you to direct traffic to your website and place it in front of your target audience. Don’t agonize if you’re new to all of it; it will take a bit of time before you’re able to catch sight of some clear-cut results, although as long as you’re taking unfailing action, you shouldn’t fail.

Take a gradual and don’t expect instantaneous achievements – that’s the secret to reaping the most out of your traffic production attempts when it comes down to photo sharing sites.

Could Google be your next ISP? Maybe. The company has just announced a trial of its own high-speed network that it plans to offer to “at least 50,000 and potentially up to 500,000 people.”

Google says it will be capable of delivering speeds more than 100x faster than typical U.S. Internet connections with up to one gigabit per second. It will do so at a “competitive” price.

As we all know Gmail Labs consistently comes up with something new to make their users happy. This time they have come up with a “to-do-list” which is integrated in Gmail. It is called “tasks” and allows you to add reminders and well things-to-do.

This is helpful for people that are heavy Gmail users. I am not very big on gmail for some unknown reason. I am not sure why I didn’t get into it as much like everybody else. Yeah go ahead and count me out from the cool kids bunch .

To activate the “tasks” on gmail, follow these steps :

Sign in to your gmail account

On the top right hand side click on “setting”

Click on that tab that says “Labs”

Enable Tasks and click save changes

The task link sits right under contacts on the left sidebar. To start using it simply click on it and you will have your own to-do-list on gmail.

There has been many ventures google has undertaken but haven’t been able to produce any results with them. Lively falls under that category. Google’s browser based virtual world that can be embedded into other websites is joining the deadpool.

Lively was launched in July of 2008 and the initial reaction was quite overwhelming. Although Lively is going down the crapper we do need to give Google credit for the risks they take. That is what business is all about. Giving everything a shot and weed out anything that doesn’t work. And at this point in time Lively seems to be one of the ventures that didn’t really go as Google planned.

Here is an excerpt from the Google Blog ,

Google has always been supportive of this kind of experimentation because we believe it’s the best way to create groundbreaking products that make a difference to people’s lives. But we’ve also always accepted that when you take these kinds of risks not every bet is going to pay off.

If you are a lively user and have worked hard to create your world on lively, Google suggests that you take snapshots and videos that will remind you later of all your hard work.

The other day while I was on Twitter, I clicked on a link that so happened to be one of the best resources compiled by google for its users.

Lately there have been a lot of things sprouting on the web that I am simply falling in love with. I am not a heavy Craigslist user but still at times I tend to use it for some things that I want. However, the extensive clicking and scrolling sometimes just makes the work a little too hard for me. Search All Craig’s List is a new tool that eliminates this hassle. It allows you to search anything that is listed on Craigslist. It sure is a handy way to tap into the massive listing that exists on Craigslist. I am sure I will be using Craigslist a lot more often since this service will definitely make it a lot easier to find listings.

Its amazing how often we hear about google in news. Its either some groundbreaking update on an existing service, a new product/service launch or acquisition, Google is never seems to get a break from technology news. Its once again time for Google to acquire another web property from the way it sounds.

We have come to find from different sources that Google might be acquiring Valve which is known for its Half-Life games and Steam, a content distribution platform which Valve uses to sell and distribute games. Google seems to be trying to tap into the gaming market as well as the acquisition might best fit them for that matter. As of this point its a rumor but usually when Google rumors go around it happens to be true. And when it comes to acquisitions Google sure as hell seems to be getting quite a few of them each year. Its a wait and see thing at this time.

For a complete timline and acquisitions please refer to this link Google’s Acquisitions.

Well, for most of us web junkies the wait finally came to an end a couple hours ago. Google gave us quite a surprise with Google Chrome. Although there were rumours that google has been cooking up a sweet browser somewhere in its lab, it had never been announced officially. Well, the time came and google chrome is now available for all to taste.

So what do I think of Google Chrome? I am not sure if my opinion really matters to most of you but what the heck….I think google is headed in the right direction with this browser. There are a lot of features that are pretty cool. But the simple design with this browser is kind of an eye sore, at least for me. Besides the minimal design the other thing I have a problem with is that it doesn’t support any add ons. And trust me, I am an add on junkie. Anything I can get my hands on gets added to my FF browser. That certainly won’t be the case with Chrome cause the damn thing won’t let me add anything. All in all I like the browser so far but it won’t replace my default FF for a while until google allows me to add plug ins. Anyways, enough of my opinion, there is not much to say. I have compiled some interesting links below regarding google chrome that you guys might want to check out :
