There’s a new course called Domain Scalping that claims to offer the secret of how to flip domian names for 3788% profits… I don’t know. I’ve been big into domain names and buying and selling websites, and I originally thought it was a load of sh!t…

Turns out…

I was wrong. Well, partly. Let me explain.

You see, Ryan Deiss and Zach Booker put together Domain Scalping to teach you how to generate lump sum emergency cash quickly. The thing about it is it doesn’t require any of the things that internet businesses usually do… A list. A website. Buyers. You don’t need any of that. I guess that’s the beauty of it.

Apparently, it all started with Zach overhearing his father talking about a hot, new real estate term. He bought the domain name and was able to sell it for $3000 in less than 48 hours. Needless to say, he was hooked.

So, here’s my Domain Scalping review. The good, bad and the ugly!

Domain Scalping Review – What It Is

Domain Scalping is a step by step system that shows you how to buy $4 domain names and sell them for between $3000 and $5000. It’s a little like the stock market. You buy low and sell hi. You don’t need any web design skills or marketing acumen… You just need to know where to buy them and where to sell them. All you need is a good eye for spotting emerging markets, which requires some research and your finger on the pulse of the Internet…

That’s why it’s so easy to get started. If you have $20, you could be making pretty big money with this thing.

Here’s what’s offered in Domain Scalping:

  • You will learn about the 33 best buyers of domains
  • Exactly where to go to find them in less than 3 minutes
  • How to get up to 10 buyers or more to compete for your domains
  • The 5 domain variants that everyone else forget (and how to get a minimum of $500 for them each)
  • … And a whole lot more

Domain Scalping Review – What I Liked

I love the idea of being a ‘domainer.’  Someone who buys domains and sells them for profit.  That’s what Domain Scalping is all about.  I love the model.  I love the (lack of) work.  I love being in a position where I can find emerging markets before anyone else.

Not to mention, I like the idea of make 3000% profit!

Domain Scalping Review – What I Don’t Like

I’ve been in this industry for a long time and I don’t necessarily like the fact that Ryan Deiss and Zach Booker are telling people in Domain Scalping that they’re going to get 3788% profits on average.  My estimates are a bit lower.

From what I’ve seen (and the domains that I’ve sold) I usually get about 2000% profit margins.  If I register a domain in a good market, that’s keyword loaded, I usually can guarantee that I’ll sell it for about $2000.  Not $4000 or $5000..

Most people look at that and think, ‘That’s pretty good!’  And it is!!  I have no problem with those numbers…  I just don’t want you to think that selling one domain will buy you a brand new car :0)  It’s awesome money though – for sure.

Domain Scalping Review – The Verdict

I really liked Domain Scalping (and it’s a steal for the money they’re charging).  I love the business model and the course is structured in such a way that you can’t help but make money if you follow it.  I’ve seen Ryan Deiss in action and he’s a smart, smart guy.  So I give a thumbs up to the course content!  it’ll make you money online.
