Rumors have been circulating on the web that Ebay is trying to sell StumbleUpon. Ebay bought StumbleUpon in 2007 for a grand $75 Million which still seems to be a justifiable price for a site like StumbleUpon. However, at the time of acquisition everyone in the tech industry thought Ebay would use StumbleUpon in some ways for their online auctions or other purpose. But ebay left the service as it is and did not integrate anything new or change in service. Given the fact that ebay isn’t really soaring high it seems like a right decision for them to sell this part of their business.
Think Google will jump in and get hold of StumbleUpon? They very well might.
