It seems like some facebook users ( millions ) are getting pretty pissy about the new design. Well, we have all known this for a while now but some ( millions ) users are calling for a Facebook boycott.
To bring Facebook down to agree their terms these users are planning on not using Facebook for two days, October 18th and 19th. It seems like there are quite a few groups that are being formed and some have millions of users backing them up. According to PC World currently there are 2.7 million supporters that say the new Facebook design literally sucks. Although Facebook has 100 million active users its still a large number of users that are calling out against Facebook’s new design.
As technology advances and things change, change overall is necessary. Whether its the design or overall operation, change is necessary. Although Facebook already knows that these complains exist Mark Zuckerberg made it clear that the new design will stay. I hope Facebook stands their ground and leaves the new design as it is and I am sure they will. If you can’t handle change, something as minor as a design, then may be its time to go back to some other social networking site.
