Firefox happens to be one of the best browsers out there. I am myself a firefox user and one of the reason I enjoy it so much is because of all the addons and plugins that are available for it. Its amazing how much time a simple add on can save when it comes to getting things done. Of course other browsers support plug ins but I am sure nothing beats Firefox currently. I am still using the last version of Firefox and although the new version is out I think I am going to wait for a while. When I downloaded the version I am using right now, I had quite a few problems but it seems to be working fine now.
Mozilla recently released the latest version of Firefox and it is all ready to be downloaded. Some of the key features of the new version are listed below :
- This beta is now available in 54 languages

- Added a new Private Browsing Mode aka “porn mode”.

- Added functions to make it easy to clear recent history by time as well as remove all traces of a website.
- New support for web worker threads.
- The new TraceMonkey JavaScript engine is on by default for web content.
- Improvements to the Gecko layout engine, including speculative parsing for faster content rendering.
- Removed the new tab-switching behavior based on feedback from users
- Support for new web technologies such as the <video> and <audio> elements, the W3C Geolocation API, JavaScript query selectors, CSS 2.1 and 3 properties, SVG transforms and offline applications.
