Gmail Adds Two More Security Features

by Ritu

Google has included two new security features to it’s free Gmail service. With the popularity of gmail and the wide range of possibilities, these security add on should give Gmail an added advantage over other email services. The two new security features are :

  1. Protects users against people who might be trying to snoop or hijack your inbox.
  2. Alerts users if they are signed in to their Gmail account from a different location while they are logged in. It also remotely signs that machine out of your account.

In my personal opinion, I think gmail is one of the most widely used free email services at the moment. I am sure Google will be rolling out a lot of new features to make it even more powerful. All we can do is wait and see what Google has up it’s sleeves the next time it rolls out a new feature.
