Although in one of our previous post we said we don’t really care much about the page rank, I guess we do. It helps a lot to maintain authority and position yourself as a leading blog/site on the web. Well, as you can see on your toolbar Nethackz has been denied a pagerank this update. Weird! You might ask what makes Nethackz so special that it should have gotten a pagerank for sure by Google. Well here are a few reasons :

1. Nethackz has been featured on Digg frontpage 3 times. Please note that all three articles made it to the frontpage in the same month
2. Nethackz has been linked by some of the most popular blogs such as Lifehacker, geeksaresexy and many others.
3. And the weirdest thing - Axiium ( our network and service site ) which is basically a static site that was created after Nethackz got a pagerank 2. On what basis did a site that young which barely updates got a pagerank but Nethackz didn’t?

Any answers guys? Help me out here. By the way, Marketinhackz got a pagerank 4 which we are happy about. It’s not that we are desperate for pagerank, just the fact that how can a site that barely has any linkbacks, has been around for less than a month got a PR vs. a site that has basically been hitting everything right.
