Its Not due next year its already here and its been here for quite sometime. gOS is based on Google apps like GMail and as such has created a Google Desktop but the copyright on Thinkgos states ; "Google, Google Icons, and the Google Logo are trademarks of Google Inc. gOS is not affiliated with Google or their partners."
