Seems like Microsoft has had enough of Vista bashing. After finding ways to defend their position for months on the new operating system, MS has seems to have found a solution. They launched a project code named “Mojave” and chose a number of XP users to use the new operating system. They were told the OS they were using was called Mojave. 90% of users gave positive feedbacks. After all was said and done Microsoft told the participants that the OS was actually Vista and not Mojave.
Microsoft says that the problems users have with Vista is of perception rather than technical. This is what Windows unit business chief Bill Veghte had to say,
We have a huge perception opportunity. We are going to try a bunch of stuff.
We can just wait and see what else Microsoft will do to change “user perception.”
