R.I.P. Magomed Yevloyev

Most of you probably already know about this but for those who doesn’t this is a pretty shocking news. Magomed Yevloyev, an owner of the opposition internet news sites was shot and killed by Russian police. It seems like bloggers and website owners are being targeted a lot these days due to the freedom of their opinion and given that they can reach a large audience quite easily.

Yevloyev was arrested at the airport by Russian police and was shot dead while in the car. He was shot right in the brain and the police said it was an accident. Ohh and lets not forget that the body was dropped infront of the hospital. An accident, yeah right.

This just shows that internet becomes viable option for most people to raise their voice and opinion government seems to be threatened by it’s own citizens. To the point were they are being murdered.
