StumbleUpon Makes It Easier For All To Stumble
I have been using StumbleUpon for a while and to say that I simply love it is an understatement. As a matter of fact, I find myself using this service to find images and keep up on cool articles, videos, news and everything imaginable. It has become a favorite past time as well as a productivity booster, at least for me.
StumbleUpon recently has been pretty active when it comes to making their service more appealing to their users. A while ago they made some changes to their service by allowing people to subscribe other users favorites and creating a recommendation engine and such. Those changes were for existing users but didn’t do any good for “non – user.” The recent change is geared more towards people who do not want to sign up for yet another service but still be able to use StumbleUpon. Its a well known fact that with this change being implemented StumbleUpon will surely pick traffic and appeal among a large population on the web.
Most StumbleUpon (SU) users use their toolbar to stumble and discover sites and such. Before a user had to be a member to use this service and be able to use the toolbar. Although this new change won’t allow non-users to discover or “thumb down” a site it allows them to see what others like on the web. if they don’t like something they can simply go ahead and hit the stumble button to move onto the next page. This change will mostly help less web savvy population to stumble the web and be able to find cool content, images and pretty much anything they want. This certainly is a huge bonus for all. Ohh and it is much easier to use it at work as well
.
I am pretty sure this new system SU has implemented will benefit a lot of people. If you would like to add me or see my stumbles feel free to add me to your SU friends list. You can add and subscribe only if you are a StumbleUpon member but from now on you can stumble as much as you want without having to fill out any forms whatsoever.
